Software Engineer with around 8 years of experience building backend systems and managing Linux-based infrastructure. My background is in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, which helps me when dealing with complex logic, algorithm optimization, and system design. I’ve worked on everything from low-level C/C++ projects to modern microservices in Go and PHP. Most of my recent work involves virtualization (KVM), automating infrastructure with Ansible/Docker, and making sure high-traffic systems stay stable. Work Experience

Lead Backend Engineer

2023 — 2025

OperaVPS (Hosting & Virtualization)

  • Rewrote the core billing and service delivery system from a slow PHP monolith to a Go-based microservices architecture. This made the system much easier to scale and fixed long-standing race conditions.
  • Built an automated provisioning system for KVM VPS using Libvirt, Python, and Ansible. This allowed the company to deliver servers to customers in minutes instead of manual setup.
  • Implemented a centralized logging and monitoring stack (ELK + Prometheus/Grafana) to track hardware health and VM performance.
  • Lead a small team of developers, doing code reviews and making sure we followed better testing patterns (Unit and Integration tests).

  • Developed a custom payment gateway integration that handled high transaction volume without losing data during database locks.
  • Migrated search features to Elasticsearch, which fixed performance issues we were having with heavy SQL 'LIKE' queries on large datasets.
  • Cleaned up the API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI so the frontend and mobile teams could work without constant back-and-forth communication.
  • Setup Redis-based rate limiting to prevent API abuse and scraping.

  • Worked on the trading engine backend using Laravel and MySQL. Focused on the logic for order matching and transaction history.
  • Integrated third-party APIs for real-time crypto price tracking and wallet balance synchronization.
